In our constant pursuit of the latest and greatest beauty products,we had the pleasure of perusing through the incredible apothecary shop in Out of Hand on Pitt St. in Mt. Pleasant.  The fantastic Devon quickly took us around and filled us with knowledge of all the new lines they had to offer. Products that are green and clean only grace the shelve of the shop. Some of our favorites so far are Ta Ta Harper, Kahina, CV Skin Labs, and of course the most luscious lip color we have seen in a while! Ilia tinted lip conditioner is the perfect texture with a power packed color punch! The perfect berry can be achieved with the beautiful Arabian Nights and Lust for Life is one of our go to Reds! NARS Puerta Vallarta multiple is the perfect tool to achieve that glow for cheeks lips and eyes. A few waterproof essentials are a must this time of year! You can still be perfectly polished while at the beach or lounging by the pool .  These power products will have you looking great without looking overdone. Curl those lashes and add a couple of swipes of Kiss Me mascara. It's tube technology is  sure not to leave you with raccoon eyes.

Fall Greening

It's time for a little "Fall Greening"!

As our personal products reach the end of there use we are replacing them with green alternatives. Recently a shipment from Futurenaturals.com arrived containing a few products we are really enjoying. Alima Pure is a line based out of Portland Oregon and they really did it right! The Satin Matte Mineral Foundation gives great sheer to medium coverage with 100% natural goodness.

Weightless Protection!

August is here and so is the humidity!!!!

It's much more appealing to hunker down in the A/C

than hang outside....

and who wants to slather on a heavy sunscreen

under your makeup and head out to 100% humidity?

Yuck!

We know you have to protect yourself from those nasty rays BUT....

there really wasn't anything on the market that was light and comfortable to wear under makeup. Not to mention, the higher the level of protection the heavier the lotion.

Having oily skin myself this was a little bit of a dilemma for me...

Travel Essentials...

With all the Moore Makeup Experience crew travels with,.....We can always use a great travel essential! Trish McEvoy (the Packaging Princess!) has come out with her Flawless Concealer . This mini sensation packs quite a powerful punch. It has a feather light feel and fantastic coverage. Only a few turns of the pen and the product dispenses through it's own applicator. Perfect for the on the go gal! Concealer runs a close second to mascara as our absolute favorite product and we love this one!

Spring Cleaning

We are constantly looking for new and exciting things for our kits, but sometimes neglect our personal makeup bags. So spring cleaning it is! Off to Sephora.com to pick out some new goodies.....We came across this super cute TARTE gift set. It's full of great color for the eyes and beautiful lip gloss for those upcoming summer soirees. is a" light as a feather" satin matte lip color that glides on beautifully!

Long gone are the days of the heavy dry matte lip colors.

Smashbox has definately gotten this one right.

We have been using Peony on a number of our spring brides

and they look simply gorgeous!

Fantastic Fundraiser!

We all love to give back to our community and on Saturday we had the opportunity to pay it forward!

"Leslie and the Pinks" is the label used by Dr. Baron to describe the 6 women who put together the fundraising event for the Charleston Breast Center.

Laura Oliveri, Elizabeth Quinton, Kelly Campbell, & Pamela Lesch joined Leslie and myself for this beauty extravaganza!

Our schedule was filled and everything ran smoothly.

There was lots of love and laughter had by all.

The event was a huge success with a total of $2,100 raised.

Not to bad for a few cosmo-trons getting to play in each others makeup kits.

Everyone went home with there heart full knowing the money we helped raise will help women get mammograms who would otherwise be unable to afford them.

We all hope to do this again next year......who knows maybe we can double our numbers.

Sounds like a challenge to me.

Cool and Classic

Cool and Classic are two words I think of this time of year.

Winter makes me want to put out all of my favorite comforts...my snuggly sweaters, my warmest wool socks, my best boots, and of course my favorite sensual scents. I have been a long time fan of classic Chanel scents. My Dad bought me my first bottle of Chanel No. 5 for Christmas when I was 16. I felt like such a grown up! Ever since, I wear one this time of year and still love them dearly! Coco is one of my all time favorites and will be for quite a long time. So wrap yourself in a warm scent this season and enjoy being Cool and Classic.
