Time for a change....

It's time for a little change! As the seasons change so do our skin care needs. Spring and Summer bring on the heat, humidity and sun! We are always asking to hear about "your favorite products". Arbonne International comes up in conversation quite a bit. Intriqued by it's popularity and pure approach to beauty, I recently had the pleasure to attend an Arbonne party. It was incredibly informative and my consultant, Tricia Nutting, provided me with a sample pack of the NutriMin C RE9 line to try. I was also able to get my hands into the makeup and "painted" a fellow party goer. I instantly loved the products. The smell alone is fabulous, like fresh cut oranges. Ringin' In the New Season

Okay, so the little hiatus we thought we had has come and gone...LONG GONE! We have been busy gearing up for spring season, but Lord did the flood gates open this past weekend!

Busy = burnin' (meaning burning through product). We are constantly looking for the latest and greatest, not only for ourselves, but for others, and our kits. On top of that, we are getting tons of emails on how to stay looking good, while saving a buck. This is perfect...I came across this new Maybelline product this weekend (when one of my fav concealers busted) and in a pinch it worked like a charm! I was pleasantly surprised by the results it gave. On one end is a more dense opaque version of concealer, and the other end a lighter, sheerer version with just enough "highlight" to create the halo glow we all need.

The other product I fell in love with was Laura Mercier's Secret Brightening Powder! I can tell you I won't be without this product and will take anyone down I see sneaking it out of my stash ;) It's brilliant and goes on like velvet. I used it on very young skin and not so young at all skin and it blended beautifully.

You all know we love a good book around here...especially if it's anything beauty related! Our latest addition to our library is this one from Charla Krupp! We love her informative and humorous approach to ageless beauty! We just recently had a seminar covering our Fabulous Over 50 crowd (thank all you gorgeous ladies who came)...and this was passed around several times! It was a hit, so it's a keeper! Get one for yourself, better yet-pick one up for a friend (she will quickly become your best friend after reading this)...

Cinderella Day

Every girl wants to feel like a princess!

The North Charleston campus of Seacoast Church hosted it's 2nd annual Cinderella Day on Saturday! Denise Church and her team of volunteers transformed the Dream Center into an magical place! A number of underprivileged girls lined up to pick out a gown for their prom, ball, or formal affair. After they picked their gowns the girls were sent to pick out shoes and accessories.... then onto hair, makeup and nails. We were truely honored to be a part of this wonderful project. Seeing the smiles on the girls faces and giving back makes what we do worth every moment!
