NYC makes me happyyyyyyyyy!

Margaret and I are planning a trip to NYC in May to attend a Beauty and Business trade show. Between researching theMakeUp show and drooling over this season's Fashion Week...it's gotten me, as Billy Joel would say-in a "New York State of Mind".

I am already daydreaming about the sights, the smells, and the sounds of the city. We hope to not only be inspired by what we learn from all the industry's top make up artist- but also by the magestic beauty that only New York itself holds.

Through my latest digging around, I came across one of my favorite sites and realized that I had not once posted about them (gasp). Check out the New York magazine web site, especially their beauty section.

We were fortunate enough to be listed, along with Kelly and Juliet, as preferred vendors in the new book Bride's Advisor Charleston Edition.

It is a beautifully done coffee table book. A very informative, hands on guide perfect for just about any budget! The girls and I decided we would all meet up at the Launch Party over at Patriots Point. We got to catch up with some of our good friends over a glass of wine. We had such a nice time, we decided we needed to do "that" at least once a month! I actually remembered to bring my camera, so....here are a few shots!

As you know, we collect books on make up, hair, style, etc. Call it research, learning, inspiration, motivation...we love a beautiful coffee table book-better yet, an informative beautiful coffee table book. Like we say, "You are only as pretty as your content..."

It hits the nail on the head- from making the right choices in product to perfecting your make up application. There is even a great resource guide in the back if you are even thinking of going into the Industry.
