Go Green Girls!

With many projects in the works, Margaret and I have plenty to be excited about! One thing we are loving, is our research for all Natural and Organic make up...looking beyond the trend, we thought it was time to offer a more eco-friendly alternative for girls who wanted to look not only gorgeous-but go GREEN! We like to call it environmentally chic! First let's give you a little 101, there is a difference between natural, organic, and mineral...

Natural: Not FDA regulated-Natural brands are formulated with high concentrations of plant-based and naturally derived ingrediants. Fewer to NO parabens, petrochemicals,a nd synthetic fragrences and dyes are used.

Organic: Refers to products containing ingrediants grown and processed without the use of pesticides, herbicides, and insecticided. In the US, "organic" falls under the USDA's standards. Must contain 100% organic to carry the organic seal, 70% to claim "organic" on it's label.

Mineral: Derived from natural mineral sources-usually free of preservatives, talc, oil, fragrence, dyes, and other chemicals that can irritate skin.

One line that we are mega-impressed with is the organic line Nvey Eco. Their make up and skin care not only feel good, but look great! Margaret has been the guinea pig for trying out their skincare package and so far she loves it (and she has sensitive skin!).

If you don't have a Whole Foods in your neck of the woods, hop on www.sephora.com

They have several options if you are looking to go green!

Moore Make Up Experience

Some of you might have heard (or read it on last week's Moore Make Up blog)...but things with our sister company Moore Make Up Experience are starting to rock and roll!

We are getting closer to launch- with our marketing going to print soon, the new web site cooking, and of course our new blog-we hope to keep you more up to speed with progress!

Again, we are excited to grow as we focus more on instruction, education, and imaging. At Moore Make Up Experience, we feel true beauty starts from the inside. Feeling good shouldn't be a luxury, but a necessity. Everyone has something truly beautiful and fabulous about themselves-forget about what you don't have, let's enhance what you do have. Learning basic beauty skills can provide great confidence and improve self esteem. Let us show you how!

When you look good, you feel good, you do good!
